These points are purely subjective and there are certainly others who don't see it that way, but it's my review so live with it.Īll in all, it's a great game that still gets regular updates and I'll definitely be picking it up more often. bitch unveiling circle like until thick get porn movies and early toured. the many sections outside the water are kept more exciting there are more building possibilities (this point is now negligible, because almost all building elements from the second part are now also available in the first part) there are less dangerous creatures (I unfortunately already suffer from thalassophobia, so I don't need any critters that warp me out of the sea moth) In the second part it is much easier to know what to do. Some find the first part better, because there you are not "taken by the hand" and purely through exploration gradually find out where the story goes and what to do. Why? For the reason that the forums are divided. Since I just caught up on my review of Subnautica, I can't leave out Subnautica Below Zero now, especially since I find Subnautica Below Zero a tad better than the first part. Sorry, the first game was great, but this one was a bit of a dissapointment. TL:DR Large, confusing, copypasted world. Evenso, the story seems to be left without much of a conclusion. After I finished the game I had to look up a playthough online to see if I had missed something. One that made the iceworm not much of a threat, one that caused me to not be able to enter/exit my habitat until I restarted without saving, and one which caused me to not recieve a message more or less essential to the story. Lastly, I encountered a number of bugs though my playthrough. There is no satisfying conclusion to the story about the humans, and the alien story is fairly lackluster.
Now they're alone with a human who's trying to help them recover from the loss of their whole species, even as she struggles beneath the weight of. The story kinda fizzles out halfway through. Subnautica Below Zero Fanfic: I Wish You Were Synopsis: For most of their life, Al-An was part of a vast network, where sharing every thought was normal, and misunderstandings were almost unheard-of. Later in the game, you gain access to deeper caves where there are alot of resources, but there is nothing to use it for. You unlock more advanced modules and assets to your base about halfway through, but there is no reason to use them over the ones you already have. There is no incentive to build another base other than close to the starting zone, becuse you are travellng back and forth across the map through the entire story. There are several places where there are alot of areas to explore, but very few of them actually contain anything special. It seems like they wanted to reach a certain size of the map, but instead of designing more kinds of biomes, or make them more distinct/memorable, they just expanded the already existing areas, making them confusing to navigate, and tedious to traverse through. The core gameplay is basically the same and the first 5 hours or so, it's the same wonderful gameplay as the original subnautica, and the story seems intruiging.īut about halfway through, the game kinda falls apart. This game Is not as good as the original.
